Dimension 0.25G DG Pro: Superior Pre-emergent for Grassy and Broadleaf Weeds

Samuel Barrick

Whether you are looking for a product to control unwanted crabgrass in your lawn or need a pre-emergent for containers, Dimension 0.25 G is one of the best choices on the market. While it specializes in crabgrass control, it controls over 40 broadleaf and grassy weeds.

Dimension offers great results on tough weeds like Jpanese Stiltgrass, goosgrass, henbit, spurge, and lespedeza.

Active Ingredients

Dimension 0.25G contains Dithiopyr which is a proven pre-emergent and has some post-emergent effects as well on young weeds. Dimension 0.25G is carried on The Anderson’s patented Disperable Granular (DG) technology allowing it to quickly break down and bond with soil particles.

Dimension 0.25G is a full rate pre-emergent giving applicators three to four months of control on most labeled weeds.

Weeds Dimension 0.25G Controls

With 40 broadleaf and grassy weeds controlled, Dimension 0.25G controls a lot of weeds that are seen out in the summer months. Dimension 0.25G is usually applied during the spring month as a split-application.

A split-application allows the dithiopyr to last throughout the summer months, keeping crabgrass at bay.

If you plan on rotating Dimension 0.25G with other pre-emergents, it might be a good idea to use it as a second round of the split application as it can kill young weeds that have emerged.

What are the Most Common Places Snapshot is Applied and How Much To Apply?
